What is it?
The Women’s Moot is a newer competition introduced in 2015. It often tackles interesting issues facing women in the legal profession and in the eyes of the law. The final is followed by a luncheon with well-respected women exploring real-world challenges they have faced and explaining their personal experiences.
Mooting is a rewarding co-curricular activity to develop skills inherent to the legal profession as well as aiding your future legal studies. Students are welcome and encouraged to compete, whether they have competed in the Junior Moot previously or not. Participation is highly esteemed throughout the legal profession, and a great way to enhance your resume and confidence.
