Witness Examination Competition
What is it?
The Witness Examination (WitEx) was introduced in 2015 and has since had a strong field of competitors. It requires an element of understanding evidence law which is an excellent competition to be doing regardless of whether or not you have completed the compulsory subject of evidence law yet. This competition focuses on demonstrating oral evidence skills, while asking appropriate questions to legally adduce evidence.
Academic members from any year are eligible to participate but it may be advantageous to have studied Legal Skills (LLB1115) and Evidence Law (LLB3301) prior to competing.
When is it held?
The Witness Examination competition is held in Autumn each year. Further dates will be made known via our social media platforms as well as our calendar when they are confirmed.
