ALSA Conference

What is it?

The largest external competitions that UOW participate in are held at the ALSA conference in July. The ALSA conference sees the best competitors from across Australia and New Zealand represent their universities for the title of ALSA champion. The conference rotates location every year, and this year will be held in Melbourne. We send the winners of our Negotiations, Witness Examination, Client Interviewing and Senior Mooting competitions to represent our university in their respective competitions at national level.

The tough competition by day is balanced out with some excellent social events by night. We are hoping to continue the fantastic efforts of our past competitors by sending the best representatives we can, which means providing greater support to competitors before the comp and getting as many students participating in internal comps as possible. You never know unless you have a go, many competitors were first-timers in their competitions!
