What We Do

The University of Wollongong Law Students’ Society (UOWLSS) aims to enrich the law student experience. It is the primary association for students studying law at the University of Wollongong, and is officially associated with the School of Law.
The UOWLSS provides our student community with a variety of events, activities and programs, including social events, educational support, mooting and skills competitions, careers events and initiatives that demonstrate our strong commitment to social justice.

Our Activities and Portfolios

Administration

Takes care of all matters related to the UOW LSS Constitution and upholds effective decision-making practices within the LSS. 

Careers

Careers preparation through the Careers Fair, guide production, skills workshops, panels and networking.

Marketing

Production of guides, maintenance of social media channels and online engagement.

Competitions

Both internal and intervarsity (state and national) skills and advocacy competitions.

Events
Opportunities to build friendships and take time out, whether it be at Cocktail Party, Harbour Cruise or our annual Law Ball.
Education

Student advocacy, social justice, equity, mental health/wellbeing and academic support.
